I wish this was a joke, but while Senator Feingold and Gov Warner are out campaigning to win back the house on Monday, Senator Gravel will begin campaigning for himself.

I have known and worked for former Senator Gravel and believe he has been a man with incredible thoughts and ideas that were before his time. Now I’m thinking time has caught up with him and he could bring out country through his leadership, into an era when we move for a "consumer based country", to the “world financial center”.

Warner and Feingold are out fundraising. "Campaigning" is a lovely euphemism, but kindly recognize it as such. Gravel will need the extra time to get enough people informed that they can look past the advertising blitzes the otherts buy with corporate money that will have to be paid back SOMEHOW. No company wants to bankroll this guy. Health insurance firms, defense industries and oil companies will be all too happy if the US citizenry ignores Mike Gravel.
