Maybe Bush Loves Texas
If the Pentagon gets its way 33 military bases will be "phased out" over the next 6 years starting in 2006. The fun part is, of the 33 bases, nearly half are in Texas. That's right, 15 military bases in Texas will be closed by 2012. Let's see if Bush loves his home state.
Bush has until September 23rd to accept or reject this list, and suspect he will just sign off on it.
