AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Vince Young is headed to the NFL.

The quarterback who lead Texas to its first national championship in 36 years has decided to make himself eligible for the NFL draft, an official within the athletic department told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement hasn't been made.

If this is true, Young will most likely play for the Titans. Texans have shown interest in pursuing Reggie Bush, the Saints want Matt Lienart, and that would leave the third choice to the Titans.

Young would be the likely Heisman winner next year and his presence would allow for a likely repeat for the longhorns. I hope there isn't much to this rumor but the idea of passing up millions of dollars for college glory is hard for anyone.
